FASHION retailer M&Co is to expand its Wells High Street store into the empty shop next door.

The site, which was most recently a dry cleaners but has been vacant for several years, is owned by M&Co.

A section of wall between the two shops is to be knocked down to allow for the expansion.

M&Co’s property director Neil McGeoch said: “We are happy to announce the expansion of our Wells store.

“We have enjoyed great success in the city and opening up the unit next door means we are able to welcome more new and existing customers through our doors this coming spring. At M&Co we pride ourselves on producing quality products, at the right price, supported by our famously friendly service.”

The company hopes that the new-look store will be ready in March or April 2018.
