Town Crier proud of smart new summer livery
Wells Town Crier Len Sweales gives a shout out to the business that has given him a cool new look:
In this recent scorching weather, I have been really suffering in my Town Crier’s livery.
The lightweight summer uniform was in a poor condition and not fit for purpose. It was at this stage that Joe and Christina Borastero stepped in and approached Carolyn, from Cloth in Broad Street, to see if she could help.
Help was an understatement, she initially said it would take her four weeks, which suited me. In less than eight days I was in possession of my magnificent summer livery.
I am so proud to wear it and represent England’s smallest and finest city. I have had hundreds of compliments which is a testament to one of Wells’ newest businesses. Thank you, Cloth, you have done me and the city proud.
