• Dinder Village Summer Fete, The Old Rectory, 2pm-5pm. £2 entry, children free. Afternoon tea, Wells City Band, games, tug of war, cakes, ice cream, duck race, face painting, bric a brac, bottle and plant stall, raffle, barbecue, bar.

• Wells Methodist Church charity stall in Wells Market Place in aid of Dementia Alliance and church funds.

• Wells Art Contemporary exhibition opens at Wells Cathedral. Continues until August 11.
