• Wells Men’s Breakfast Club, Connect Centre. Ian Williamson will talk about his job as fundraiser for St Margaret’s Hospice, which has taken him all over the world and led to some surprising adventures. New members welcome. • Wells Classic Motorcycle Club Tortoise and Hare Run in aid of Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, setting off from Wells Market Place at 10am.

June 3

• Wells U3A Singing for Pleasure group will meet in the Seager Hall at 2.30pm. All U3A members welcome.

• Special lecture with local historian Joanna Cobb MA: Flowers and plants in art through three millennia: a multi-media experience.
